Stricty's Dianne Buswell declares love to co-star in Joe Sugg marriage admission (2025)

Dianne Buswell was jokingly given competition when it comes to marrying her boyfriend Joe Sugg as her latest video of her partner got quite the response.

The Strictly Come Dancing star recently returned back to the UK following a longer than expected stint back in Australia. Fans may have seen that the dancer enjoyed a break with Joe in South Africa as they attended their friends' wedding in Cape Town.

Following the stunning wedding, Joe headed back home to the UK Dianne headed over to Brisbane where she seeminfly did some work on a secret project before heading off to Perth to be reunited with her family.

But the trip ended up being longer than expected after Dianne sadly suffered the loss of her nan and her dad fell ill and needed emergency surgery, with Dianne admitting at one point that she'd changed her return flight to the UK three times.

Dianne has since been reunited with Joe and in one of her latest social media post, the Strictly 2024 champ was seen filming her other half as he continued to try and get aquainted with the doves appearing in their garden.

As she made breakfast in the kitchen of their beautiful home, Dianne filmed Joe who was outside sitting on a wall in their garden trying to encourage his feathered friends.

Across the video, she wrote: "He has been trying to get the doves to feed from his hand for quite some time now [face holding back tears emoji]." The clip was set to a dramatic music soundtrack as Joe patiently waited for the doves to approach him before he eventually gave up.

"I hate that one," he decalred as he walked through the door. But Dianne typed: "But he didn't give up..." and a new clip showed a dove finally taking food from his hand and celebrated by sweetly looking up and smiling to Dianne as she caught him on camera.

Captioning the post on Instagram, Dianne tyoed: "It’s been a morning full of all kinds of emotion [crying laughing emojis]. Joe and his doves give me so much entertainment."

Gemma Atkinson was quick to respond, as she wrote in the comments section: "Oh bless him." Dianne's Strictly co-star Johannes Radebe also gushed: "If you don't marry him Di, I will..." to which Dianne responded with crying laughing and heart emojis before adding: "love you."

Johannes' comment quickly sparked a reaction. @mrsfrenchie66 joked: "I'm married already and I 2nd that! How gorgeous is this man." @:stella.wright.50999 replied: "That’s lovely. He’s such a beautiful soul isn’t it, love his patience and respect for animals." @mai_bee_crafts laughed: "Get in the queue."

It comes after Dianne appeared on Good Morning Britain earlier this week alongside fellow Strictly pro Vito Coppola to discuss their upcoming tour, Red Hot and Ready.

But show host Susanna Reid wasted no time in addressing rumours the dancer is engaged after fans recently spotted Dianne wearing a ring on what is traditionally classed as the 'wedding finger' in her social media posts.

She said: "I want to ask you because there was a lot of speculation about the fact that you might have got engaged over the last couple of days..." Dianne let out a screech before she replied: "It's a really funny story! I was in Australia and it's quite hot over there."

She continued to explain: "I had just flown in and my fingers get a little bit swollen on the plane. So, I had a couple of rings on my right hand, which I do. But, because they were swollen, I had to take them off, and I put them on my left hand."

Dianne admitted she didn't realise that was the finger an engagement ring or wedding band may traditionally sit and added: "I'm taking pictures with my family and I put them online so everyone thought I was engaged. I'm not engaged."
