I've installed and configured zookeeper and kafka servers using apache quick start guide on ubuntu running in vmware. Running my sample producer and sending messages to server is pretty fine. I can see produced messages in consumer instance running on my WM Now when i run consumer locally to get messages from server it always return null Message body. I guess it happens in KafkaEndpoint createKafkaExchange() method, as i can see message is simply ignored and never set to exchange.

A few years ago i optioned to have Wthby install a break, ha....i have one on all of my WM now. Would highly recommend the $150.00 investment to anyone ...

Hi I just recently installed obmenu inside openbox... What i am trying to do is to show my applications in a menu, like whats in xfce... After I got a basic-ish bspwmrc set, I was determined to get a decent panel setup. This proved harder than I thought it would be. There are many styles to take inspiration from on the internet. Most bar scripts I saw didn’t seem to handle multihead well though. This led to my current panel start script - taking the idea from the startup loop above, I looped through all the monitors displayed by bspwm and gather information about the current loop-monitor to explicitly set a panel’s geometry, allowing for correctly sized bars regardless of differing resolutions. Once I got that set, I used z3bra’s excellent blog post as code to gather information to pipe to lemonbar. However, I did have one problem - then the currently playing song from mpc was too long, it would overlap with the workspace indicators in the middle of the bar, but only on one monitor(different resolutions). This led to me deciding just to reduce the amount of information output from that shell script, and move the workspace indicators to the left of the panel.

(edit) I was using oss sound for both devices, using the 'audio.o' module for my usb speakers, Now I can get my usb speakers to work using also and "snd-usb-audio" but no mixer control, and it only lets one program use it at a time. With oss i could have multiple progams using sound w/ no problems. My laptop's sound i can't get working at all. Also both audio modules are reported as being in use, but i don't know how to find out what's using them(/edit)
